VIVI-OCT
PCI(Percutaneous coronary intervention) is the most common treatment of coronary artery disease with the majority of cases undergoing stent implantation. Furthermore, adequate stent deployment is of primary importance to avoid late stent thrombosis and achieve a favorable clinical outcome. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an optical imaging modality that uses near-infrared light to create high-resolution images of coronary arteries for assisting physicians in diagnosing coronary artery disease. VIVI-OCT is the first accepted standard software for assessment of stent implantation in China. Moreover, our software features the analysis including intima border detection and stent structs extraction. It can assist physicians in the research for restenosis, malappositon and the corresponding complications after PCI.
